TEACHING OF NATIVE PEOPLES OF CENTRAL CHILE: PROMAUCAES, OMISSION IN EDUCATION, DEBT WITH THE HERITAGE

Abstract
From the educational viewpoint evidenced an omission and debt with the indigenous peoples of Chile central, especially with the group known as Promaucaes ancestral inhabitants whose teaching is not replicated in the formation of children and young Chilean leaving a vacuum in the content and in our own history.
It researchaproach the importance of educate to them new genera-tions for know their peoples originating, its heritage cultural intangi-ble, rescuing them traditions through the knowledge of them cultures that gave origin to them manifestations that have to persist deepening on the ethnohistory of the area central of the country that is has seen diminished.
From the historiographical base, passing through the learning objec-tives set by the Ministry of education and the witness of teachers of the province of Curicó puts at the disposal of the community local history research bringing his story ethnohistorical and delves into the strategies used by teachers in the province of Curicó to apply in their subject-matter classes related to the topic being the main objective of the research.
Citizen participation is key in dealing with problems related to the heritage care and rescue of their own history, that is why from the teaching and learning of Social Sciences seeks to establish a solid base of knowledge that allow individuals to recognize their identity and belonging with a responsible look in your environment.
