Abstract
This article investigates the ideas relating to knowledge that enables teacher’s knowledge to make sense of teacher education in Brazil. That by understanding the issues related to education of history teachers and their ways of producing historical knowledge. Thus, it seeks to stimulate the theme approach from focus related to history teacher education in Brazil and how they structure the didactical function of historical knowledge. From this it’s possible to present the specific constitution of historical knowledge concerning the Didactics of History as a function of the sense of time orientation in teacher training as a structuring element of the Brazilian historical culture. Finally, it presents an analysis of the difficulties and possibilities of building a Didactics of History for the qualification of teachers and that influenced the development of the discipline of history in Brazil during the beginning of XXI century.
