SCIENTIFIC DISCLOSURE ON TEACHING OF HISTORY IN CHILE : A BIBLIOMETRIC APPROACH TO STATE OF THE ART

Abstract

The following article shows a scientific investigation about
Teaching and learning History in Chile though an approach of biblio-
metric method by applying dichotomous analyses (is made of presence
and absence) with the criteria used to classify in the first stage of the
bibliographic review. A descriptive analyze has been realized from the
main topics found in the abstracts in the scientific journal from seven
data base specialized in education. In conclusion, we must emphasize
the reduced size sample found in spite of opening the research of the
entire prestigious international data base. Therefore, it seems that the
Teaching and learning History in Chile is a productive knowledge field
for scientific production. The study shows the discipline topics more or
less prolific, as well as the relationship between themselves, pointing
out the open path and still to be opened inside the area.
