CONTRIBUTION OF AUTONOMOUS UNIVERSITY OF BARCELONA THE CONSTRUCTION OF A TEACHING OF HISTORY IN CHILE

Abstract

This paper reviews the research carried out by Chilean researchers in masters and doctoral programs in the teaching of history and social science at Universidad Autónoma Barcelona (UAB). For this we analyzed and grouped the work in the research developed in the field of teaching of history and social science. This analysis shows that the close relationship between the Department of Social Science, History and Geography Education at the UAB and Chilean researchers have been relevant to the construction of a history education in Chile.
